Site Information
Here's where all of the important meta-information about this site is located. Um, enjoy, I guess.
I. Usage Policy and Legal Disclaimer
This cannot be repeated enough. Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch is created by Yokote Michiko and Hanamori Pink, and copyrighted by Nakayoshi, Kodansha Publishing, and Del Rey. The translations provided on this site are in plain text format, and are not intended to infringe on copyright, nor to step on the toes of Del Rey's English edition of the manga. The translations on this website were written and "published" on the web long before Del Rey licensed and translated the Pichi Pichi Pitch manga. Even though Del Rey has made a professionally-translated (and superior) edition of the manga available in English, I will not remove my translations from this website until somebody from Del Rey tells me to do so, because it never hurts to have more than one translation available for anything.
However, this website, and all its original contents, including translations, are copyrighted by me, Kotetsu. That means that you cannot copy my translations and pass them off as your own, NOR can you redistribute my translations without first asking me for permission. If you ask, I'll probably say yes. ^_^ But the point is, you do have to ask.
II. Credits and Thank-Yous
Much love and thanks are owed to Satomi and Yukie (you two know who you are), for helping me every time I got stuck on a particular word or phrase that I couldn't translate, and for helping me with all my frustrating "WTF can't Kaito speak like a NORMAL Japanese person?!" moments. Mireiko also deserves credit for pointing out to me what "Panthalassa" was supposed to mean. Finally, Shizuka deserves credit for posting scans of the Pure DVD Box character booklet that showed Michal and Michel's names.
As far as website materials go... The image used in this layout came from Random. Scans of tankouban covers used here come from Lovely Pitch, MermaidMelody.de, and from DigiNaka, the official Nakayoshi website.
III. Contact the Webmistress
If you'd like to leave feedback about this site, you can sign the Boukenshin.net guestbook. If you have a question to ask me, the best thing would be to send me an email. You can email me at webmistressREMOVETHIS@boukenshin.net. Of course, you have to remove the part that says "REMOVETHIS," duh.
***** Before you contact me with a question, however, PLEASE READ THE SITE FAQ. Thank you! ******
