Click each thumbnail for a full view of the screenshot. These screenshots were taken using IE6 and a 1024x768 resolution. This layout also featured a colored scrollbar, which unfortunately you cannot see on these screenshots.
This layout may look simple, but it took me *forever* to make, mostly because the header image itself was quite complicated. The scan of Alucard that I used was an absolute mess to work with - the image contains dozens of flying splatters of blood and floating dust motes, all of which I had to painstakingly edit out. Next, after I had resized the image, Alucard's eye, nose, and mouth were too smushed and blurred to be seen properly, so I had to re-draw them all by hand. Finally, I wanted to make it look like Alucard was about to grasp the words "Nocturnal Revelation," so I carefully selected each finger on his hand, and made each one a seperate layer. The words "Nocturnal Revelation" are actually floating in front of Alucard's palms but behind his fingers, although the word placement on the main index makes it difficult to see that. It's a bit more obvious on the header graphics not used on the main index.
