And now, for some other important items of business: 1) Stealing an idea from the Manga Entertainment release of the English- Japanese bilingual _Read or Die_ DVD, each chapter of this fanfic is subtitled with the cite of a book, complete with Library of Congress code number. (In the _Read or Die_ DVD, each chapter stop was titled with the cite of a book, in a similar fashion.) I wanted the list of chapters to ultimately end up looking like a pile of books that could be construed as Aziraphale's current summer reading, including a few titles that he probably keeps hidden under the bed and wants nobody to find out that he actually reads. I realize that the Library of Congress classification system is mostly specific to the U.S., but as far as aesthetic considerations are concerned, an LoC code looks a lot more impressive than a Dewey Decimal code. ;) Thus, I stuck with the LoC system. 2) As far as this fic is concerned, many of the ideas about how physics works in the fictional world I constructed here, the nature of reality, and the nature of miracles, are shamelessly inspired by one of my all-time favorite manga-ka, Kosuke Fujishima, with many homages owed to Stephen King, and to several other scientists and writers, including Edwin Abbot (author of Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions), Albert Einstein (relative space, and time as a dimension), and Richard Feynman (for his variations on universal superstring theory). Tons of love and thanks is owed to the amazing and wonderful Daegaer, who provided tons of feedback for the first half of the fic, and then ended up somehow volunteering herself as a beta-reader and a proofreader, and who helped me correct many of my Americanisms with proper British English. ^_^ Much love, Kotetsu 9/09/03 and 10/11/03
